Hello Integral Changemakers!

Hey there!

Welcome to Salón, a space at c-Integral.com for our “integral activism/organizing/social change” “learning community.” [Salón is Spanish for both large gathering room and for classroom, appropriate for our intended purposes.]

At the suggestion of Joshua Gorman and Julia Walsh, convenors of our recent Integral Activism gathering, I offer this blogspace as a place where those of us at the gathering can write and share thoughts, ideas, feelings, photos, links, announcements—and even unabashed self-promotion—that contribute to our movement toward the vision of integral transformation we have begun to articulate.

Perhaps one of our first tasks is to develop “working definitions” of these terms: definitions that (1) work well enough for each of us and that (2) work to unite us in working together. In the process, hopefully, we will continue to generate a greater sense of common identity and shared purpose. Yet, whether or not we evolve into a “community of practice” or even a “community of struggle” of people working toward integral well-being, development and transformation, in large measure, remains up to the nature of our being and doing together.

I assume that the look and feel of this blog will change and evolve as we need; your suggestions are welcome. Its lifespan will depend on its usefulness to us and, eventually, to others we invite to join our effort in knowledge production and, moreover, in movement building.

So, please sign up as a user and post, crosspost from other blogs you my have or contribute to, and do your thing to breathe life into this newborn creature!

Many blessings!
